Residential Rehabilitation (Standard)
The residential program at Kingdom Village and Little Creek Group Homes provides 24-hour residential care for developmentally disabled adults and children in the Central Florida area. The residences are family-style housing where clients live as a family with care providers and are integrated into the community. The Kingdom Village and Little Creek Residential Program functions continuously throughout the year.
Kingdom Village and Little Creek residents participate in numerous community activities every week. Day programs and work opportunities further enrich their socialization and developmental skills. In addition, our clients participate in group activities on weekends. Transportation is included for all clients, so they can enjoy being members of the community.
Respite
A respite care short-term stay is often used after discharge for occasional support or to help ease a loved one into residential rehabilitation. A respite stay can be offered in-home or at the family home.
Key services vary but may offer help with personal care, transportation, nutritious meals, and medication management.
Companion
Our experienced and highly trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to both patients and their families. Our goal is to help individuals and their loved ones live happy and fulfilling lives. They provide a supportive, encouraging presence and help with everyday activities:
- Grocery shopping
- Meal preparation
- Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Daily errands
- Transportation to doctors’ appointments, recreational outings, etc.
